Our program is designed to promote individual human rights, increase autonomy, and encourage active participation in the community for all individuals we serve. The individuals we support live in their own residence. Each person is empowered to make their own choices, including where to live and with whom, where to work, and how to spend their time and resources. We use evidence based interventions with our participants

ICARE Supported Living was founded in 2013 by Cari Gilbert. We tailor all programs specific to the strengths and needs of each individual. We respect and promote self-determination. Our goal is to increase the independence of each individual incrementally, in hopes that supported living services will no longer be needed, or can be reduced so they can make as many decisions, and complete as many tasks as possible, with the least amount of support.
ICARE Supported Living strives to nurture each individual’s interests both at home, as well as in the community. It is our goal to increase their quality of life by empowering them to reach their fullest potential.
Residential Habilitation services include:
- Our highly trained staff work with individuals to develop their skills for daily living, socialization, self-help, money management, and communication.
- Socialization training, including participation in community activities;
- Daily Living skills;
- Money Management;
- Self-direction;
- Behavior shaping and management;
- Housekeeping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, self-administration of medication, home safety.
